The Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies comprises a vast group of researchers working on gender issues. From its beginnings, the Centre has set out to encompass a plurality of disciplines and faculties in such a way that researchers from different centres, service personnel and personnel from companies linked to the University may contribute to it.

The objectives of the Centre are to promote research, awareness, education and social responsibility, as well as to disseminate and publish documents based on gender studies at the regional, national and international level.
